Mission:
To provide clients with the best day spa services at affordable prices and to nurture them from head to toe. Namaste Day Spa is their temporary escape from reality.
History:
Nancy Hart was born on Curacao and raised on St Martin. At age fifteen years, she moved to Bonaire and went back to St Martin in 1995. After feeling stressed at work and burnt out in 1999, she decided to begin yoga and massages to help get herself back together again. During this process, she felt that the service given in many spas was cold and business driven, when, in fact, she needed nurturing and someone to listen to her feelings and needs. Knowing how that felt, she decided to learn more about stress management, aromatherapy, massage, Reflexology, Reiki and many other modalities within all of those just mentioned. Although she became certified in all of these areas, she does her work intuitively, trying to meet each person according to their needs and wants. She started her first Namaste Relaxation Studio on St. Martin in 2007. After two years, she moved back to Bonaire for the second time and in 2010, Nancy began her Namaste Relaxation Studio at home. She still works from her studio at home. Nancy Schoop-Hart is married to Jeffrey Schoop and the proud mother of three wonderful children, Chemaine (30 years), Stephanie (29 years) and Ramoncito Jr. (26 years). In addition, she is the loving grandmother of Lyla, two years old, Luke, nine months old, and Zakaria who will celebrate his first birthday in October.
Future:
Namaste Bonaire BV will be expanding with two spas on Bonaire: a private and exclusive resort spa for guests staying at Bamboo Bali and, in 2017, the studio will expand its services with a spa at Captain Don’s Habitat called Namaste Rituals. It is also her intention to re-open her spa in St. Martin in 2017.
